Agnes Renshaw, 1603 Washburn Street, died Tuesday at home after an illness. Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Mary Gerrity (sic) Renshaw. A member of St Patrick's Church, she was a graduate of the former Technical High School and the Scranton-Lackawanna Business College. She was employed by the JJ Broadbent Insurance Co until her retirement. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Theresa Condon, and a brother, Arthur Renshaw. The funeral will be Friday, at 9 am from the Donahue Funeral Home, 303 S. Main Ave, with Mass at 9:30 in St Patrick's Church. Internment, Cathedral Cemetery.

Arthur Renshaw, 70, of Penn Ave, prominent local building contractor, died last night in his home after a brief illness. A native of Sheffield, England, as a young man he took up the building trades and for the past 40 years was engaged locally on many of Scranton's building projects. Active in local fraternal circles, a member of the BenHur organization, the 13th ward Democratic Club & prominent in the men's organizations of St Pau;'s, Green Ridge. Survived by his wife (the former Mary Jane (Jennie) Geraghty); two daughters, Mrs William (Theresa) Condon & Miss Agnes Renshaw, both of Scranton; a son, Arthur of Buffalo, NY & five grandchildren. Funeral Thursday, St Paul's Church, Cathedral Cemetery.

The funeral of Mrs Mary J Renshaw, 1403 1/2 N Washington Ave, who died late Weds night at home after a brief illness, will be held Monday with mass at 9:30 in St Paul's Church. Interment, Cathedral Cemetery. Mrs Renshaw, a native of England, was a daughter of the late Michael & Marian Barth (sic) Geraghty, and had resided in the city for the past 50 years. She was a member of St Paul's Church and its Altar & Rosary Society. She was the wife of the late Arthur Renshaw, a construction contractor. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs William Condon of Scranton & Miss Agnes Renshaw at home; a son, Arthur of Philadelphia; two sisters, Mrs William Kingdom of Scranton & Mrs HJ O'Connell of Dunmore; also ten grandchildren; five g grandchildren.
