Elizabeth A Knoetgen, 704 Fourth St,Dunmore, died Sun after an apparent heart attack at home. Born in Dunmore, daughter of the late Nicholas & Theresa Hennigan Knoetgen. She was a business teacher at Dunmore High School for many years before her retirement. Prior to teaching she was a credit manager for Oppenheim's Department Store. Graduated from Marywood & member of the alumnae assoc. Member of the Retired Public School Employee Assoc, St Mary of Mt Carmel Church, Dunmore & its Women's Guild. Surviving are a sister, Mrs Nancy Picharella of Dunmore; a brother, James F of Morton, Delaware County; nephews. A sister Theresa died in 1978. Theresa A Knoetgen, 701 Fourth St, Dunmore, died at home Sat night after a heart attack. Lifelong Dunmore resident, daughter of the late Nicholas J & Theresa Hennigan Knoetgen, she graduated from Dunmore High School, Marywood College & did grad work at the Univ of Scranton. She was the librarian at the Dunmore Elementary Center, member of Marywood & Uof S alumnae associations, Dumore Federation of Teachers, St Mary of Mt Carmel Church & its Altar & Rosary Society. Surviving are two sisters, Elizabeth, with whom she lived, and Mrs Joseph Picharella of Dunmore; brother James F of Morton; nephew; & cousins, including Rev Gerard Gannaon, pastor of St Ann's Church, Williamsport.
