Arthur F Keisling, 91, 400 Lillian Ave, Endicott, NY, died Weds in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Binghamton, NY, after an illness. Born in Scranton, son of the late John & Caroline Miller Keisling, he resided in Binghamton the last 10 years. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Peck Lunmber Co for many years. He was a member of St John's Lutheran Church. His wife, the former Charlotte Price, died in April 1971. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs Anna Ranney of Endicott, Mrs Bertha Falk of Scranton, Mrs Mildred Memolo of Moscow, and Mrs Beatrice Albrecht of Endicott; two sons, John L of Chinchilla & Arthur F of London, Ont, CAN; six grandchildren & 5 g grandchildren. Funeral will be Sat from the Howard J Snowdon Funeral Home, 1810 Sanderson Ave; St John's Lutheran Church; Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst.

Mrs Beatrice Keisling Killed in Fall at Home: Mrs Beatrice Keisling, 52, of 7 Spring Lane, Moscow, was killed Wednesday when she fell down an inside staircase of her home about 3 pm. She was pronounced dead at the scene by Dr John Brundage, Moscow. Dr Edward Notari, deputy county coroner said death was due to a fractured skull. Mrs Keisling's body was discovered by her husband, William J Keisling, Jr, at 4:55 pm State police from Dunmore Barracks investigated. She was the mother of William J Keisling III, Harrisburg, vice-president of Gann-Dawson Advertising Inc, former member of the news staff of the The Scrantonian-Tribune and former assistant to Gov William W Scranton. Mrs Keisling was born in Dunmore, daughter of the late Peter & Elizabeth Ford McClymer. She was a graduate of Dunmore High School and was a member of St Catherine's Church, Moscow, and its Altar & Rosary Society. Surviving in addition to her husband & son are a daughter, Mrs Stephen Pendrak, Moscow; two brothers, Frank A McClymer, Brooklyn, NY, and Daniel J McClymer, Wilmington, DE; a sister, Mrs Frank E Caulson, Dunmore; eight grandsons and a granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews, including Sister Mary Ronan, IHM, stationed at Forest Hills, Long Island; Sister M Francesca, IHM, stationed at the Marywood Motherhouse, and Sister Apostulant Joan Marie Caulson, member of the Good Shepherd order, stationed at Peekskill, NY. The funeral will be Saturday from the Albert P O'Donnell Funeral Home, 2025 Green Ridge St, Dunmore, with mass in St Catherine's Church, Moscow, at a time to be announced. (Note: interment, St Catherine's Cemetery).

Charles Keisling, 85, of 818 Meadow Ave, died this morning at home after an illness. Born in Germany, son of the late George & Selma Bishoff Keisling, he resided in South Scranton 80 years. Prior to his retirement he owned & operated the South Side Plating, Surviving are a sister, Mrs Nellie Oliver, this city, and a brother, August Oeftering, with whom he resided. The funeral will be Friday at 11 am from the Strauch Funeral Home, 602 Birch St, with the Rev Joseph M Kim, Trinity United Church of Christ, officiating. Interment, Forest Hill Cemetery.

Elizabeth F Keisling, 92, lifelong resident of Scranton, died Monday afternoon at Community Medical Center after an illness. She was the widow of John L Keisling, who died 30 Sept 1989. Born in Jessup, daughter of the late Jacob & Mary Goodman Nick, she attended local schools. Prior to her retirement, she was employed in local silk mills and was a member of the Myrtle St United Methodist Church. She is survived by nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Anderson & Rose Craig, and a brother, Frank. Graveside services will be conducted today at 11 in Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst, by the Rev M Lynn Snyder, pastor, Myrtle St United Methodist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Myrtle St United Methodist Church. Arrangements by Arthur E & Brian A Strauch Funeral Home, 602 Birch St.

George Keisling, 1015 Alder St, died yesterday morning in St Mary's Hospital after a long illness. Surviving are his wife, Gertrude, seven sons, George Jr, Buffalo, NY; Carl, Philadelphia; Arthur and Harold, Scranton; Private Delbert, Aberdeen, MD; and Woodrow, Scranton; and three daughters, Mrs. Clarence Rochon, Mrs. John Rochon, and Gladys, this city. The funeral will be held Weds from the Cusick Funeral Home, 217 Jefferson Ave, at the convenience of the family. Interment, Forest Hill Cemetery. It is requested that flowers be omitted.

Injuries suffered when she fell down a flight of stairs in her home Friday resulted in the death Saturday, about 6:30 pm in St Mary's Hospital, of Mrs Gertrude Keisling, 1015 Alder St. She was the wife of the late George Keisling. She had lived most of her life in South Scranton. She was a member of the Plymouth Brethern Church, South Scranton. She is survived by three daughters, Miss Gladys Keisling, local beautician, at home; Mrs Mabel Rochon and Mrs Clarence Rochon, this city; and five sons, George, Buffalo, NY; Carl, Philadelphia; Harold, Delbert and Woodruff (sic), at home. The body has been moved to the Cusick Funeral Home, 217 Jefferson Ave, from where the funeral will be at a time to be announced. (Tuesday, 2:30 pm) Interment, Forest Hill Cemetery.

A daughter of the late Mr & Mrs Frank Huss (sic), she was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ and its Women's Guild, the Workingmen's Society Auxiliary and Augusta Victoria, Temple 45, Ladies of the Golden Eagle. Surviving are her husband, William; four daughters, Mrs Louise Morgan, Mrs Mildred Armstrong, Miss Esther Keisling, all of this city, and Mrs Lila Miller, RD Olyphant; three sons, William, Moscow; Albert and Bernard, both of this city; a sister, Miss Philippina Huss, this city, a brother, Joseph Huss, this city; 11 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. The funeral will be Tuesday from the Arthur E Strauch Funeral Home, 602 Birch St, at a time to be announced. The Rev Braynard E Kurkowski, Trinity Church, will officiate. Internment, Abington Hills Cemetery.

Nancie J Keisling, Moscow, died unexpectedly Wednesday evening in Moses Tailor Hospital. Her husband, Woodrow W Keisling, died 24 Feb 1986. Born in Spring Brook Twp, daughter of the late Michael & Catherine Repella Hrywnak , she was a life long resident of the Moscow area and a member of Gospel Hall, South Scranton. She was employed for the past 22 yrs by Angelica Healthcare Group. Surviving are a son, Kenneth R, of Princeton, NJ; two daughters, Nancie Karen Renaud, Albia, Iowa; and Kathleen Keisling, Moscow; five sisters, Olga Balleo, Hartford CT; Annie Garelli, Newington, CT; Mary Ropiak, Throop; Judy Millard, Scranton; and Millie Wladlarski, Monticell, NY; two brothers, Paul and Harold, both of Springbrook; three granddaughters; four grandsons; and nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by a son, Nelson W, who died in 1991, and two brothers, John and Wesley. The funeral will be Saturday at 2pm from the Miller Bear Funeral Home. Internment Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst.

W Keisling, Sr Dies in Hospital; Funeral Friday

Funeral services will be held Friday for William Keisling, Sr, 873 Maple St (sic), who died in Moses Taylor Hospital Tuesday morning at the age of 83. He had been ill for sometime. Mr Keisling, a south Scranton resident 80 years, was born in Germany, son of the late George and Thelma (sic) Bishop Keisling. He retired 13 yrears ago from Consolidated Molded Products Co and was a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ and a life member of the German American Association and the Workingman's Society. His wife, the former Louise Huss, died 6 June 1959. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Louise Morgan and Mrs Mildred Armstrong, this city; Miss Esther Keisling, Bay Village, OH, and Mrs Lila Miller, RD Olyphant; three sons, William Jr, Maple Lake, Albert and Bernard, this city; a sister, Mrs Nellie Oliver, this city; two brothers, Charles Keisling and August Oeftering, this city; 11 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. The funeral will be at 10:30 am from the Arthur E Strauch Funeral Home, 602 Birch Street, with Rev Joseph M Kim, pastor of the Trinity United Church of Christ, officiating. Internment will be in Abington Hills Cemetery, Chinchilla.

Born in Scranton, son of the late William & Louise Huss Keisling Sr, he resided in Spring Brook for the past 35 years. He was employed as a carpenter prior to his retirement in 1970. He was a member of Local 261 Brotherhood of Carpenters & Joiners, and was an army veteran, having served in the Panama Canal Zone. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs Elizabeth L Pendrak of Scranton; a son, William III of Harrisburg; four sisters, Mrs Louise Morgan & Esther Keisling, both of Bay Village, OH, Mrs Mildred Armstrong of Wesley Village, Pittston Twp, and Mrs Lila Miller, Olyphant; two brothers, Albert and Bernard, both of Scranton; 14 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; nieces & nephews. The funeral will be conducted Wed at 11:00 from the Arthur E & Brain A Strauch Funeral Home, 602 Birch St; with the Rev Wallace G Pabst, Jr, interim pastor, Trinity United Church of Christ, officiating; Interment, St Catherine's Cemetery, Moscow. The funeral will be Thursday at 11 am from the Miller Bean Funeral Home, 436 Cedar Ave, with internment in Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst.
