Mrs Laura Edwards, 514 N Rebecca Ave, died yesterday in Moses Taylor Hospital after an illness. Native of England and resident of Scranton for approximately 70 years, she was a daughter of the late William & Salina (sic) Glover Kingdom. Her husband, William D Edwards, died in 1949. Survived by a daughter, Mrs William Powell, at home; a son, Daniel of Bayshore, NY; three grandchildren, two g grandchildren. Funeral Fri from the Davies & Jones FC, 135 S Main Ave; Grace Bible Church, Jackson St Baptist Church; Shady Lane Cemetery, Chinchilla.

Employed as an upholsterer for the past 20 yrs by the Hotel Jermyn and preveviously worked for Protheroe & Co Furniture Store. Born in Scranton, son of the late Daniel E & Martha Jenkins Edwards. Survived by his wife, the former Laura Kingdom; two sons, William R of Andover, MA & Daniel J of Bayshore, NY; a daughter, Mrs William Powell of Scranton; a sister, Miss Martha of Scranton; four brothers, John, David J & Daniel E of Scranton & Morgan of Hillside, NJ; three grandchildren. Funeral Weds from the Davies FH, 135 S Main Ave; Jackson St Baptist Church; Shady Lane Cemetery, Chinchilla.
