Fred Albrecht Sr, 65, 431 Crown Ave, formerly employed as a woodturner & who for the past several years conducted a store at his home, died yesterday at home after a long illness. St Mary's Assumption Church. Survived by his wife, Barbara; three sons, Fred W, John & Edward; three daughters, Mrs Joseph Troy, Mrs John Dehner & Mrs Edward Jones; three brothers, Leo, William & Otto; six sisters, Mrs Minnie Muckley, Mrs Lena Kempter, Mrs John Cawley, Mrs William Lonsdorf, Mrs Gussie Dillinger & Mrs Theodore Miller; 11 grandchildren. Funeral Thurs, St Mary's Church & parish Cemetery.

Michael Albrecht, 70, who has resided in South Scranton since he emigrated to America 27 years ago, died this morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs Victor Kempter, 909 Pittston Ave. For years Mr Albrecht kept a tailor shop on Hickory St. His wife died in 1903 (sic). Twelve children & 33 gc survive. Mr Albrecht was prominent in the affairs of the German societies and in St Mary's German Catholic Church. The following children survive: Mrs Fred Muckley of Easton, Mrs William Lonsdorf of Tunkhannock, Mrs Victor Kempter, Mrs Clayton Moxley, Mrs John G Cawley, Mrs Carl Sontag, Mrs Theodore F Miller, Otto A Albrecht, William A Albrecht, Leopold Albrecht, Fred F Albrecht & Joseph L Albrecht, this city.

Tues 14 Apr 1914; funeral yesterday at the home of his daughter, 909 Pittston Ave; St Mary's German Catholic Church; St Mary's No 5 Cemetery. PB: George Reif, Joseph Heen, Henry Koelsch & Thomas Tighe.
