Priests and Brothers
Religious Orders for Men
This is not a definitive list, but orders that have or had a presence in NEPA. While nuns, sisters, and brothers belong to religious orders, priests can either belong to an order or make their vows to the Bishop of a particular diocese. The latter are called diocesan or secular priests and do not have have specific identifying letters after their names. The majority of NEPA priests are diocesan.

I've been told that Maryknoll is a secular society rather than a religious order, so I'm not certain of the status of the Maryknoll Brothers. If someone can explain, I'd be much appreciative.13
