BUTLER
My Great-grandmother's half-brother, Hubert Ormond BUTLER, was said to have been a mayor of Nome, Alaska. Hubert (or Bert, as he was called) was born in 1871 in New Westminster, BC, Canada and died about 1923 in Wenatchee, WA where he had been a druggist. He married Anna May JOHNSON GALE in 1909 in Victoria, BC, Canada. I assume he was in Alaska before his marriage. His wife was said to have been a "Hurdy-Gurdy" girl in Alaska. I am looking for information on Susan Laura Milligrock, born about 1937 on Little Diomede Island, Alaska. She married Elliott Dale Bradley. They had at least 5 children, one of whom they gave up for adoption. Her birth name was Cynthia Mae Bradley, born May 31, 1961 at PHS Alaska Native Hospital in Anchorage.
