Alaska Chapter History

According to a telegram received by NSDAR in Washington, D.C.:  "Alaska Chapter, DAR was organized
at Fairbanks, Alaska, November 21, 1925."  Seven members were present according to the telegram sent by
Ruth Kathryn Trail McClellan to the Organizing Secretary General.

Thirteen members made up the chapter and officers were:  Mrs. Lola May Boyd Morgan, regent;
Mrs. Jeanette Drury Clark, vice regent; Miss Ada Charis Chapman, treasurer;
and Mrs. Lillian Faloon Haskei Dillon, registrar.
