Cedar Lawn Plantation

Constructed:

History: According to estate records from 1858, Cedar Lawn Plantation encompassed "about one thousand and ninety acres" and was "situate in the County of Granville five miles east north east from Oxford on the public road." Apparently, "the home was known as Cedar Lawn and had an avenue of Cedars from the road up to the house. This home was destroyed by fire July 20, 1885".
