History: Roebuck plantation was owned by Herman Aron and Gustave Aron and was managed by their brother Albert Aron. Following Gustave's murder on the plantation, ownership was transferred to his wife Verina Moore Aron. Mrs. Aron relocated to New Orleans, LA but retained financial ties with Roebuck, selling and buying portions of the land several times.
