Constructed: 1804

History: George Wheeler, while a resident of Lincoln County, Georgia, bought 500 acres on on the south fork of the Broad River in Elbert County, Georgia. He bought this land from Lewis and Elizabeth Sewall on October 16, 1804. He seems to have moved to Habersham County, Georgia, in the 1820's but he owned no slaves there.
