Boyd Cemetery is one of the oldest African-American cemeteries in Mississippi. My ancestors Sylvanus "Van" Rogan and Ivey Boyd Rogan (parents of Jordan Rogan) are buried there. I first visited this small cemetery in the fall of 2003. My notes are in brackets [].
