Hello and Welcome! I'm Vikki Gray, your County Coordinator for Clearwater County, Alberta. I manage the site but it is your site, so feel free to offer suggestions or pitch in and help! You may want to look at the volunteer section below to find ways in which you can help. I am sorry but I cannot do research because I do not live in Clearwater County, although my ancestors lived in neighboring Clearwater County.
The Municipal District of Clearwater and extended areas to the west of the MD are included in this GenWeb. The area is located on the eastern slopes of The Rocky Mountain Forest Reserve.

- Do you have any Local History books that you would be willing to use for an occasional lookup request?
- Would you be willing to post Clearwater County obituaries on the GenConnect boards?
- Would you be willing to transcribe local cemeteries or photograph local historical buildings?
- Do you visit the local library occasionally? If so, could you do a lookup while you are there?
- Do you have access to some other historical records, such as wills, diaries, census returns, etc. that you would be willing to transcribe?
- Do you have any old Clearwater County yearbooks you would be willing to index or do a lookup in?
- If you do research in Clearwater County or at the Alberta Archives for a fee, let me know. I will post that in the appropriate area also.
