
"In the Portland Gale of 1898 Captain Thomas Bunker was the only vessel of four travelling together which made port. The others were lost. At the time he was master of the schooner Alicia B. Crosby built in 1889 in Bath Maine. She was 204 feet long ,40 feet wide and drew 18.5 feet. Her tonnage was 1113 ton. Captain Bunker's sister was Mrs. George Bulger , Beny Ralph's mother of Great Cranberry."
