While the town of Durant is located in Cedar County, the cemetery actually is within Muscatine County. We had previously neglected to work on the documentation of this cemetery and welcome all submittals of data regarding burials there. At this time our listings consist of those provided in the records of the Works Progress Administration (WPA) and a few submitted by site visitors. As this is still an active cemetery, it is doubtful we have even 1/2 of the burials there currently listed.
