Meetings
The Society holds its monthly meeting on the third
Tuesday of the month from 1-3 PM in the Tejon Founders Room of the
Beale Memorial Library, 701 Truxtun Avenue, Bakersfield. Society
business is discussed, followed by a program of general genealogical
interest. Outside speakers are invited as well as members who
have special knowledge of a topic. A few meetings may be held
in other locations and one or two social events are held per
year. The meetings and social events provide opportunities
for members to connect with other experienced researchers to discuss
methods and techniques to over come obstacles so that you may
advance your research.
